Recombobulation Area

Colleen Troy - Wednesday, January 12, 2011
Been a frequent visitor to airports this past month, more than usual.  At the Milwaukee airport, after taking off belt, shoes, jewelry, computer, luggage, kids (if they're young enough), jackets, water bottle, lotions and potions from one's body and walking through the scanner, this is what you see on the other side:

Most definitely lightened my mood after enduring the compulsory method for terrorist scanning.
Someone nearby joked, "make sure you've recombobulated fully before going to your gate."

Actually, it's a great time of year to consider, when you've put away any holiday decorations and before dragging out the "old stuff"...... is this something I want to keep in my life?  Definition for recombobulate:  "Something being put back the way it was, or into proper working order."  Is this something working for you?

Former monk and phsychologist Thomas Moore believed that every object in our home, down to the bar of soap in the bathroom, is a reflection of our inner lives.  Take one room at a time, or if that feels overwhelming, just a corner of a room.  How's the energy?  You'll know instinctively just how comfortable you are in that particular room.

Simple suggestion:  Remove one thing in the room that is ugly to you.  Replace with something that is beautiful.
